Huey needed an opener, so Bank of the West held a nationwide search via Facebook. Hundreds of bands entered and fans voted who would ultimately hit the stage. Heat was there every step of the way to help create the contest's Facebook application, raise awareness and even provide some patriotic designs for the main stage. We came up with an interactive game where visitors were sent to a website featuring a grid of Heaters. Each of us were the bearers of a secret gift. Clicking on a Heater would bring up a video where we give you a hint as to what the gift is. You can then choose to claim that gift and it will be revealed to you. If you don't like your present. we give you 1 chance to trade it in and try your luck with another Heater. The SF Egotist liked the idea so much that they wrote about it.
